CAC Café 1997-2002

This exhibition is a commemoration and an artistic interpretation of a project by two artists, Danutė Jonkaitytė and Eglė Ganda Bogdanienė, in which they were managing the CAC café. It was aimed at creating an active social space where artists of different generations as well as art critics, connoisseurs and simple bypasses would gather for discussions on culture and art. The café served as a venue for art exhibition openings, afterparties, discussions and evaluations.
